With a collection and exhibitions, the Musée de Morlaix is stretched across two sites: the Maison à Pondalez and the Jacobins.
The Maison à Pondalez (16th century M.H) is a timber frame house whose vast central hall shelters a monumental granite chimney, spiral staircase and wooden passages.
Set out on four levels, artworks and collection pieces evoke the history, architecture and day-to-day life of the houses and the history of the town.
At the Jacobins, regular exhibitions and renovations of the collection’s artworks are alternated with temporary exhibitions.
2017 exhibition: Portraits and figures (12th November - 14th May 2017).
